Bartender Zip Ties and the US Capitol
The bartender zip ties were a common sight in the Nashville nightclub, but what about a Tennessee bartender? What kind of police gear did he wear? The man wore a black shirt and cap, and a hat from Black Rifle Coffee Co. The video of him marched towards the Capitol building has also gone viral. The FBI and CIA have been notified of the situation, but no one has been arrested.
The United States Capitol was a hotbed of rioting in 2014, and the use of zip ties was a popular tactic. A Trump supporter named Eric Munchel was caught carrying a handful of zip ties into the U.S. Capitol during the riot there. He is now facing federal charges. After the photos were published online, people on social media began referring to Munchel as “zip tie guy.” The FBI called for tips to identify the suspects in the pictures.
While rioting in the US Capitol, the FBI arrested an alleged rioter who was carrying zip ties into the chamber. This man has since been charged with federal crimes. The FBI said he had a plan to hold up U.S. lawmakers and kill Pelosi. The arrest of Munchel has sparked an investigation into a possible connection between the rioters and the bartender.
