Zebra label templates for Bartender
Benchling supports printing labels for items in your tenant, using ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) template code. This includes print from tables in notebook entries, container details pages and search results.
The process is streamlined with the help of Bartender’s easy interface and exclusive Intelligent Templates that improve the quality of design, reduce maintenance labels, maximize the print job and help meet changing requirements. Ideal for departments and small businesses, the Professional Edition also offers the same easy interface while enabling more sophisticated label and card designs that leverage content from databases, spreadsheets and files.
Data Connection Assistant for easy, straightforward and flexible connections to your business operations software. Save on programming costs, IT costs and time by connecting your label with your data with no need to write any code.
Creating sheet format templates in Bartender is simple with the template Wizard, which automatically guides you through the template creation process. Choose “Blank template” to create a new document, or select an existing one to modify it.
Setting up a Data Source for a label template
Once you have created a label template, it is often beneficial to associate that label with a data source to ensure that the label is always printed with the same information, reducing the need to manually change that data after each print. This can be done by linking the template to an existing named data source, such as a Microsoft Excel database.
